Camilla Dallerup, of the BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, is urging dance clubs across the UK to join her in Breast Cancer Campaign’s £100 Dance Club Challenge. Any group, club or class can join the challenge by holding a fundraising event aiming to raise £100 or more – through sponsored events, special performances or competitions.
Dallerup said: ”Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, with 125 people diagnosed with the disease every single day. So that’s why I’m encouraging you to help Breast Cancer Campaign beat this disease by signing up to its £100 Dance Challenge.” The £100 Challenge has raised £750,000 in the last seven years.
