b.supreme, the UK’s only festival for women in hip hop, returns to Southbank Centre this Easter Monday, April 25, for a special evening of dance.

The festival will feature an exciting European collaboration between b.supreme, Battle Of The Year (Germany) Spin Off (Holland) and Lezarts Urbains (Brussels).

Each European partner will bring with them a performance of their choice, which will feature both male and female dancers. Following the success of last year’s Bonnie and Clyde event, female and male partners will also join forces to battle their opponents in an intense demonstration of extreme physicality.

This year’s contestants compete in front of a panel of expert judges including legendary German b-boy Storm, MoMo of iconic French b-boy crew Vagabonds and UK b-girl Sunanda “SunSun” Biswas.

The night will also feature home-grown female hip hop crews including Lambeth-based Stylinquents, lockers and poppers Funkamental, and b.supreme director Holly McCartney

b.supreme’s contribution to the European collaboration is IDO World Champions and “Move Like Michael Jackson” finalists Unity, fresh from their performance at Lezarts Urbains, Brussels.
