AUDITIONS: Paul and Kieran Dance Theatre

Paul and Kieran Dance Theatre require male and female dancers for the autumn 2011 tour of My Name Is, to be performed in the north west and internationally.


My Name Is has been developed through innovative work with communities in recovery from drug and alcohol dependency. Paul and Kieran are looking for three male and female dancers to restage the performance throughout August 2011, with rehearsals taking place in Warrington followed by a September/October tour in the north west, with a tour to Estonia in 2012.


Provisional auditions will be held in Warrington and London. Applicants should be classically trained performers or contemporary dance artists with a high standard of classical technique. Please send images and CV only to The closing date is May 30 2011.

Zoë was born in Edinburgh, and saw her first dance performances at the Festival there. She is the dance critic of The Independent, and has also written for The Independent on Sunday, The Scotsman and Dancing Times. In 2002, she received her doctorate from the University of York for a thesis on “Nationhood and epic romance: Ariosto, Sidney, Spenser”. She is the author of The Royal Ballet: 75 Years and The Ballet Lover’s Companion.
