Midnight Tango, Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace’s hit show, is having an annus mirabilis. Following a sell-out tour and the recent announcement that the show will be moving to the West End’s Aldwych Theatre from January 20 – March 31, 2012, the latest development is that Midnight Tango will be broadcast live from the Bristol Hippodrome to cinema screens nationwide for an exclusive one-night only satellite digital relay on July 13 at 7.30pm.

Set in a late-night bar in downtown Buenos Aires and featuring some of the finest tango dancers in the world alongside Vincent and Flavia, Midnight Tango promises to take you on a journey into the heart of Argentina’s capital. The stage show has sold more than 160,000 tickets and is produced by former “Strictly” judge, Arlene Phillips, and Adam Spiegel.

For more information about Midnight Tango, read Dance Today’s interview with Flavia in our March issue or, for exclusive photographs of the pair in rehearsal, see the April issue of the magazine.

Midnight Tango is in cinemas across the UK for one night only on July 13 and available on DVD and Blu-ray from November 14, 2011.
