Alternative Christmas show at DanceEast

Posted on November 26, 2010

The Italian company TPO return to the DanceHouse with The Japanese Garden from December 13 – December 19.

Using motion capture technology, The Japanese Garden is a participatory performance for all age groups, combining digital animation, video illusions and synchronised sound to create virtual images with stories. Audiences can hop on lily pads, roll through a meadow or use their footwork to create a tune on the “singing bridge”. The “magic carpet” set produces images and sounds in response to the pressure when the dancers and audience move on it.
