web-jalehFor something different, catch a belly dance version of Sleeping Beauty at the Montgomery Theatre Sheffield on December 20–22. Seven belly dance groups are getting together, for the first time, to stage the production.

Director of the show, Jenny Muhlwa from Belrobics, said: “We have some amazing belly dance groups in Sheffield and my dream is to create something that has never been seen before – the magic of the fairytale Sleeping Beauty interpreted through belly dance. We are also putting on the production to show how ordinary people can be inspired by belly dancing and achieve the confidence to perform on stage. It really will be a fun evening for all the family.”

Belrobics is a fusion of belly dance and fitness and offers classes in the Sheffield area.

Tickets for Sleeping Beauty available from or 0114 256 5567.
