Venezuela Viva raising money for the British Red Cross

Venezuela Viva comes to the London Palladium on October 10, 2011. A company of 25 dancers and ten musicians celebrates the country’s rich culture through flamenco, belly dancing, African percussion, joropo, Caribbean calypso and salsa. Proceeds raised from the event will support the work of the International Fundraising Committee of the British Red Cross.

Salsa events

On September 9–12, Salsa Fiesta comes to Norfolk’s Mundesley Holiday Park. Dance styles will include Cuban salsa, rueda de casino, pilon, mozambique, rumba, cha cha cha, Afrocuban, body movement, bachata, reggaeton, kizomba, jazz and Zumba. Latin jazz and samba performing course

Dance academy DanceMyWay announces a new ten-week course in Latin jazz and samba. The course gives students the chance to learn performing skills, expression, stage presence, choreography, music interpretation and Latin technique. At the end of the term dancers will perform a show in front of a live audience.
