Vasiliev and Osipova in Ashton’s Romeo

Frederick Ashton’s version of Romeo and Juliet will be revived at the London Coliseum this July, starring Ivan Vasiliev (pictured) and Natalia Osipova of the Bolshoi Ballet. Last summer, Vasiliev and Osipova were the sensation of the Bolshoi’s London season: audiences and reviews were ecstatic.

Masquerade with Karen Hardy

Dance in disguise at Karen Hardy’s masquerade party this week. Held on March 31 at the Wyndham Grand Hotel, Chelsea Harbour (pictured), the party has a masked theme, with guests dancing incognito. Karen will award a prize for the best mask.

Free beginners’ salsa

For the next two weeks, free beginners’ salsa classes are being held at venues across London.

Tango in the Terminal

  About 40 tango dancers took the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dance to live music at Heathrow’s Terminal Five check-in area. This celebration of British Airways’ first direct flight to Buenos Aires included a free tasting of Argentine wines, courtesy of Gaucho, and a live band, Tango Tres.
