bj rachharry bigThe Female Choreographers’ Collective (FCC) will hold the first of a two-part forum at Laban Theatre on April 23. The Experiment asks the audience to watch six works, three by male and three by female choreographers – without knowing who made what.

aeterum-nunez-bonelliNominations have been announced for this year’s Olivier awards, presented by the Society of London Theatre and supported by Mastercard.

corsaireyonahlizavollEnglish National Ballet will be the first UK company to present a full-length production of Le Corsaire, opening on tour in October 2013. The production, by Anna-Marie Holmes, was originally created for Boston Ballet in 1997, and will be revised for English National Ballet.

emmagladstonejameskeaneEmma Gladstone (pictured) will succeed Betsy Gregory as the artistic director of Dance Umbrella. She will take up the post in November 2013, following this year’s Dance Umbrella festival, the last to be directed by Gregory.

Freed of London are presenting an evening with the stars of Peter Schaufuss’ Midnight Express. Taking place on Wednesday, April 3, Freed of London will be holding the exclusive event at their flagship store in St Martin’s Lane, Covent Garden.

Dance UK is organising a seminar for dance managers and self-managed artists, part of its training programme The Business of Dance. The seminar will be held on Friday, April 5 from 7pm to 10pm.
