Dance UK conference

moving-cities-photo-jevan-chowdhuryAkram Khan, Kevin O’Hare, Gillian Lynne, Tamara Rojo, Jonzi D and Wayne McGregor are among the  speakers at The Future: New Ideas, New Inspirations, the UK’s first ever industry-wide dance conference. Organised by Dance UK, the conference will offer more than 120 speakers, with events at London venues from April 9 to 12. The conference aims to create the most diverse dance industry gathering ever seen in the UK.

Pilates teacher training at Trinity Laban

pilatesSix places are now available on Trinity Laban’s 2012 Pilates teacher training programme. Accredited by the Pilates Foundation UK, the course is the only one of its kind in the UK, specialising in dance performance enhancement and dance injury rehabilitation, using the Pilates method.

Free world premiere

marathon - credit ben wrightOn Saturday, April 30, students from Trinity Laban will present four new works as part of the world premiere of Marathon. Part of the Greenwich International String Quartet Festival, the project teams student dancers and choreographers with composition students and string players in a close collaboration.
