As part of the Greenwich Dances season, choreographer Arthur Pita’s Open Heart Productions will stage a 100-hour dance marathon, running from June 3 to 7.

The New Year’s Honours list recognised several figures from the world of dance.

Performed for one night only, on Monday, April 23, Compass brings together a team of choreographers, composers, musicians and more than 100 dancers in a new production celebrating London’s variety.

Six places are now available on Trinity Laban’s 2012 Pilates teacher training programme. Accredited by the Pilates Foundation UK, the course is the only one of its kind in the UK, specialising in dance performance enhancement and dance injury rehabilitation, using the Pilates method.

On Saturday, April 30, students from Trinity Laban will present four new works as part of the world premiere of Marathon. Part of the Greenwich International String Quartet Festival, the project teams student dancers and choreographers with composition students and string players in a close collaboration.
