Royal Ballet School Gala

The Royal Ballet School Lower School will host a gala event at White Lodge in Richmond Park on Wednesday, June 20. The gala will raise funds in support of the Isabella Plantation Access Project in Richmond Park.

Diamond Jubilee events at White Lodge
To mark the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, The Royal Ballet School’s White Lodge Museum is presenting a programme of public events to celebrate the rich heritage of White Lodge, a Grade I listed royal hunting lodge commissioned by George I in 1727, and home of the RBS since 1955.
New Royal Ballet season
The Royal Ballet has announced its plans for the 2012/13 season, Kevin O’Hare’s first as director. It includes six world premieres, with new works by Alexei Ratmansky, Alastair Marriott, Christopher Wheeldon, Liam Scarlett and two by Wayne McGregor – including his first ever narrative work. There will also be company premieres of works by Wheeldon and Scarlett, and revivals of works by Frederick Ashton, Kenneth MacMillan, George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, John Cranko and Wheeldon, and of 19th-century classics.
Celebrating Bob Lockyer
Richard Alston, Mark Baldwin, Siobhan Davies, Wayne McGregor and Monica Mason will be among those celebrating the 70th birthday of dance film director and producer Bob Lockyer, in an evening held at The Place on April 13.

New Royal Ballet School associate centre in Newcastle
The Royal Ballet School has announced plans to establish a new Associate Centre in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne from September 2011.
