A new Fille on the south coast:

ibumaddieSouth Coast Ballet, the youth ballet company of east Dorset, will dance Caron Yardley’s production of La Fille mal gardée at the Lighthouse, Poole this weekend, with further performances in Bournemouth.

 

Based on the original 1789 production, with inspiration from Frederick Ashton’s famous version for The Royal Ballet, Yardley’s production features young dancers from the Poole and Bournemouth area. South Coast Ballet is a non-profit-making company, which receives no grant assistance or funding. It encourages and provides opportunities for young dancers, supported by its audiences.
