Dance UK, the national voice for the dance profession, which aims to improve the conditions in which dance is created, performed and experienced, is hoping to raise a further £4,000 of individual donations for its Dancers’ Health Research Project via The Big Give website on December 6, 2010. The Big Give challenge fund will double this and the project will be an additional £8,000 closer its target by the end of this year. If people feel passionate about improving healthcare for future dancers, a donation of just £1 on December 6 will be doubled by The Big Give. However, Big Give funds are limited, so people need to donate first thing in the morning on December 6, 7 or 8 to have the chance of getting their donations doubled.
