OverWorlds and UnderWorlds
Artists take over the centre of Leeds for the weekend of May 18 to 20. Directed by filmmakers the Quay Brothers, OverWorlds and UnderWorlds is a free event using music, dance, theatre, film and light in the city’s public spaces.

This week, dance fans can see everything from a lavish fairytale to a show that puts theatre technicians centre stage.
New Work by Édouard Lock
To mark more than 30 years of dance, La La La Human Steps founder and artistic director, Édouard Lock, has created New Work which brings together two great tragic operas: Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas and Gluck’s Orpheus and Eurydice. New Work receives its UK premiere at Sadler’s Wells on September 28 and shows at the venue until October 1, 2011.
Sadler's Wells autumn season
Sadler’s Wells has announced its autumn season for 2011. The programme is dominated by a new Out of Asia strand, with artists and themes from China, Vietnam, Bangladesh, Japan and Taiwan. There are also new works from Clod Ensemble (pictured, photograph by Manuel Vason), Fabulous Beast, Rambert Dance Company, Wayne McGregor and ZooNation.
