Artists take over the centre of Leeds for the weekend of May 18 to 20. Directed by filmmakers the Quay Brothers, OverWorlds and UnderWorlds is a free event using music, dance, theatre, film and light in the city’s public spaces.

Greenwich Dance is extending its international links in 2011. Dancers from India, Japan and Eastern Europe will come to London to perform in the art deco Borough Hall, while links with dance promoters in Bulgaria, Croatia and Greece have produced a series of inter-city cabarets.

Yorkshire Dance is showcasing exciting small-scale contemporary dance this week, working with other dance agencies from Newcastle, Manchester and Edinburgh.
