Open auditions for A Chorus Line at the London Palladium:

Open auditions for the London revival of the stage musical A Chorus Line will commence on Monday, October 1 from 10am to 6pm at the London Palladium (main entrance on Argyll Street), with registration from 9am to 12noon.

The producers are “looking for superb male and female dancers/singers aged 18 to 35 to appear in the revival of this multi-award winning musical”, which will be directed and staged by the original creative team Bob Avian and Baayork Lee. The production rehearses from January 2, 2013 with first preview on February 2 and press night on February 19. Equity contract.

Audition information:

Registration: 9.00am to 12.00pm on October 1

Auditions: 10.00am to 6.00pm. If you get through the dance call you will be required to sing. Be prepared to stay all day

Callbacks: October 3 to 5

Final Recalls: November 8 to 17

All candidates are required to bring headshot stapled to current CV showing name, home address, mobile number and email address. All candidates are required to come dressed to dance. Ladies need to bring heels. All candidates are required to bring a song that shows off your range (up to 32 bars, sheet music only, no backing tracks). Auditions may be filmed/photographed

    Good afternoon,

    You say that all candidates need to bring a song that shows off our range, sheet music only. Is this for singers or dancers as well?
